Sandy Morckel / President

An accomplished fundraising veteran, community advocate, and change agent, Sandy Morckel has assisted not-for-profit organizations and public/private partnerships in raising over $60 million in philanthropic support across the country for a wide variety of causes. Beginning in 1987, Sandy has held leadership positions for respected regional and national not-for-profit organizations spanning from the Midwest to the Southeast, including the Arthritis Foundation, March of Dimes, Mid-Ohio FoodBank, and Historic Charleston Foundation, where she served as Director of Philanthropy upon her arrival in Charleston in 2012.

In 2014, Sandy launched Solutions for the Greater Good, a consulting firm targeting nonprofit organizations and public/private partnerships to crystallize bold goals and visions and bring them to fruition. She consults nonprofit organizations and community-led initiatives in identifying, approaching, engaging, and inspiring individuals, corporations, foundations, and government in capital and comprehensive campaigns using peer-to-peer models.

Sandy has been a lifelong model for civic engagement. A Rotarian since 1993, Sandy is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Dublin AM and served as President of the Historic Rotary Club of Charleston during their 100th anniversary year in 2019/2020.  She was appointed District Governor Nominee for Rotary International District 7770 and will serve as District Governor in 2025/2026. In 2020, she was selected as one of four finalists in the Remarkable Women series launched by News2 WCBD in Charleston and the Nexstar Network nationally. In 2021, she was selected by Brazilian artist Fer Caggiano as one of 40 women to be profiled in the LIKE A GIRL: DARE TO DREAM exhibit in the City Gallery and the resulting coffee table book.

Jessica Boylston / Senior Consultant

By blending 20 years as an entrepreneur, creative director, leadership development facilitator and coach, and capacity-building consultant, Jessica guides leaders and organizations in growing their “inner” and organizational capacity for greater connection, alignment, and impact. Her work brings a well-rounded approach to fundraising, transformational leadership, and community impact.

For 13 years, Jessica was the CEO and founder of a creative agency working mostly with companies, non-profit organizations, and entrepreneurs in NYC, LA, Miami, Charleston, and internationally. In 2019, she joined Solutions for the Greater Good as a Senior Consultant.

Immediately following the Mother Emanuel tragedy in Charleston in 2015, Jessica co-founded Arm In Arm, a nonprofit working on responsible gun ownership in South Carolina, and served as an interim director for the first operating year to help establish the organization with the guidance of the founding board. This led her to getting steeped in the Charleston community and consulting nonprofits on fundraising, brand development, volunteer recruitment, and community engagement.

In 2016, she launched an educational platform called Ideas Into Action, and curated, facilitated, and organized over 30 collaborative discussions on a variety of topics to unite the Charleston community with local nonprofits and leaders to increase awareness, involvement, and collaboration, and to encourage volunteer and donor support. In three years, Ideas Into Action engaged over 2000 attendees and featured over 100 organizations in forum discussions ranging from social justice and racial equity, environmental and food justice, re-entry and criminal justice, education, and more.

Jessica co-founded a collaborative summer program that provided academic and enrichment opportunities for 150, K-12 underserved students at the College of Charleston to close the summer learning gap for low-income families in 2018. She led a 90-day grassroots fundraising campaign that raised $100K by having pop-up conversations in homes across Charleston to educate communities about summer slide and the program—and inspired kids, families, communities, and businesses across Charleston to creatively raise funds through their network. She recruited over nine partner organizations to offer in-kind programming.

Jessica serves on the Social Justice Racial Equity Collaborative and is the executive producer of the documentary on local food systems called Overalls and Aprons. She has been featured in several Charleston magazines and newspapers, including Charleston City Paper, Charleston Magazine, Charlie Magazine, and The Post and Courier.

Jessica is deeply passionate about creating an environment for nonprofits to thrive and provide avenues to tell their stories, to build capacity, and further their missions.
